BUSINESS AREA:Sanofi Genzyme (Specialty Care)

MISSION
Medical Manager purpose is to provide medical leadership, advice and information to internal partners & external physicians and healthcare providers on Sanofi Genzyme products in the respective disease areas. Develop & maintain excellent working relationships with all relevant stakeholders for the benefit of patient care and scientific/clinical progress.

KEY RESULTS/ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Be an internal & external key contributor to medical, scientific, product and technical expertise
  • Contribute to commercial development by supplying medical advice
  • Ensure ethics, transparency, quality and compliance of all medical activities
  • Contribute actively to sales and marketing documentation elaboration
  • Identify KOLs and other stakeholders and help to build and develop expert networks
  • May work on local clinical studies and provide scientific support
  • Work closely with Market Access and provide scientific input to reimbursement dossier/ tender submissions
  • Position scope & responsibilities will be refined depending on country needs

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
  • At least 5 years of successful Medical Affairs work experience
  • Expertise in disease area and Immunology (Rheumatology or Atopic Dermatitis or Asthma) is an asset
  • Degree in Medicine
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong ethical and compliance attitude
  • Ability to work transversally with business teams
  • Strategic thinking capability
  • Software, internet, social and media technology skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, experienced in the delivery of scientific presentations and in engaging into scientific discussions with subject matter experts
  • Working knowledge of the Healthcare system and of decision-making processes
  • Able to build strong working relationships to achieve optimal outcomes for patients
